This thing cleared out my groves and brushed off a decent bit of dirt and mud without any real hassle. The wire brush within the plastic brush is a nice feature (default). It does a good job of cleaning up the heads without having to use too much force.I found the retractable pointed grove cleaner to be particularly useful. I got out mud and dried dirt with relative ease. The ability of this thing to retract back into the handle is a huge perk. But this ability may also be its downfall. One thing I noticed is that there is a lot of wiggle room (imo) that the pick has. When scratching out a rather hard spot that required some extra effort, I found myself choking up so as to not create a bend point at the swivel. I have tried all kinds of brushes and I like the Frogger the best. I have forged clubs and you shouldn't use metal bristles to clean them. The frogger comes with the nylon head, but more importantly, the nylon head is stiff enough to get the clubs clean.I broke my first Frogger brush (my fault) and tried other cheaper brushes. They just were not stiff enough to clean the clubs. So, I bought another Frogger. Gets the job done...although a bit expensive. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful ok, By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Frogger BrushPro (Sports) this was the best thing I have received for better golf playability. works well and is easy to use. i would highly reccomend it to any golfers out there |
